31-Year-Old Woman ID'd As Victim Killed In Route 27 Crash

Kristen Drayton was identified as the driver of the southbound vehicle that had slammed into a tree on Route 27 near Reler Lane just after 8:05 a.m. on Thursday, May 9 in Franklin Township, Somerset County Prosecutor John McDonald said.

Drayton was pronounced dead at 9:30 a.m., authorities said. A section of Route 27 was closed for approximately four hours, authorities said.
